About asecos

Since the mid-1990s, asecos has specialised entirely in the safe storage of hazardous substances and is today one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of fire-rated safety storage cabinets. With German manufacturing, in-house product development and a strong focus on certified solutions according to EN 14470, asecos has built a reputation for quality and operational reliability that fits well into our range.

A safer laboratory

Safety storage cabinets are at the core of a safe laboratory environment where flammable, toxic or corrosive substances are handled. Through our collaboration with asecos, Berner Lab can now offer certified cabinets according to EN 14470-1 and EN 14470-2 – developed and manufactured in Germany to meet the requirements of modern laboratories.

We have chosen to highlight three product lines that cover the most common needs in the laboratory:

Q-line – type 90 safety storage cabinets for flammable liquids

asecos’ classic range for flammable liquids. Fire-rated for 90 minutes according to EN 14470-1, with a robust construction, triple hinges and an integrated transport base. Available in three widths (60, 90 and 120 cm) with interior fittings adapted to what you need to store.

G-line – type 90 gas cylinder cabinets for compressed gas

Fire-rated gas cylinder cabinets according to EN 14470-2 for safe indoor storage and dispensing of compressed gas. Even ventilation, flexible penetrations and standard interior fittings with mounting rails, a roller ramp and cylinder holders. Available in five sizes, from one to four 50 L cylinders.

SL-line – chemical cabinets for acids and alkalis

Corrosion-resistant cabinets with two hermetically separated compartments, allowing you to store both acids and alkalis in the same cabinet without them reacting. Available as full-height cabinets and under-bench cabinets with pull-out shelves and spill trays.

We support you all the way

We know laboratories, and we help you choose the right cabinet based on what you need to store. We keep a small stock in Sweden for faster delivery when time is critical, and all cabinets are supplied with a 24-month warranty that can be extended to 5 or 10 years with a service agreement. Service is performed by asecos technicians and can be coordinated through Berner Lab.
