Constant Systems’ High Flow Rate (HFR) Cell Disruptor is their premier production-scale solution, delivering the same high lysis efficiency as the standard CSL systems while offering dramatically higher flow rates. Engineered for large-volume bioprocessing, the HFR enables consistent, high-pressure cell disruption at unprecedented throughput.

With lysis efficiencies of 95% or higher and processing speeds of up to 150 L/hour, the HFR can rapidly handle the full contents of production-scale fermenters and bioreactors—even without prior pelleting or resuspension.

An intuitive user interface provides precise control over flow rate, while the system’s integrated flow-path accumulator ensures that the entire sample is processed smoothly, evenly, and without interruption.

The HFR delivers lysis performance comparable to the Constant Systems CF Range, even for notoriously difficult organisms such as S. cerevisiae and N. oculata. When connected to a circulating chiller, the unit’s innovative heat exchange system ensures the recovered sample is fully chilled immediately after processing.
