Heidolph vibration shakers for fast, gentle mixing

Heidolph vibration shakers are designed to efficiently mix and homogenise samples in bottles, tubes and multiwell plates. Unlike orbital shakers, they use high-frequency vibration, which is particularly effective for small liquid volumes, suspensions and sensitive samples where you want strong mixing without excessive motion. The Vibramax and Titramax series cover everything from compact benchtop units to models that can be integrated into incubators for temperature-controlled applications.

Vibramax 100

Vibramax 100 is the compact all-round shaker with a load capacity of up to 2 kg. With a 3 mm orbit and a speed range of 150–1,350 rpm, it is ideal for suspensions, solubility studies and leaching tests. An optional tension roller attachment allows the use of different vessel sizes, and together with the non-slip rubber mat, containers remain secure even at higher speeds. A built-in timer up to 120 minutes with an acoustic signal gives you good control over time-dependent processes.

Titramax 100

Titramax 100 is tailored for gentle, controlled movement of cell cultures and other sensitive samples. With a 1.5 mm orbit and a speed range of 150–1,350 rpm, nutrients and gases are evenly distributed without subjecting cells to unnecessary stress. The integrated timer can be set up to 120 minutes, and an acoustic signal notifies you when the set interval has elapsed.

Titramax 101

Titramax 101 is the more powerful model in the series, with capacity for up to four multiwell plates. With a 3 mm orbit and a speed range of 150–1,350 rpm, it is particularly suitable for processes where solids need to be dissolved or distributed in the wells. The speed is continuously adjustable, and the integrated timer (up to 120 minutes) supports well-defined runs – or you can operate the shaker in continuous mode.

Titramax 1000

Titramax 1000  is the largest model in the Titramax series and can be integrated into the Heidolph modular incubation system for temperature-controlled processes. It shares the same core specs as Titramax 100 – 1.5 mm orbit, speeds up to 1,350 rpm and timer function – but with capacity for up to six multiwell plates. The design of the supplied rubber mat, with recesses and spacing, makes loading and unloading of plates comfortable and efficient, even with frequent handling.
