Heidolph wave shakers for gentle, continuous rinsing

Heidolph 3D wave shakers are designed for applications where samples need to be moved very gently yet continuously, such as blood samples, cell culture, staining or washing steps. The soft wave-like motion keeps samples continuously rinsed with media without exposing them to unnecessary mechanical stress – a good balance between efficiency and care.

Hei-SHAKE Wave Core

Hei-SHAKE Wave Core is the bio specialist for continuous, gentle rinsing on a compact footprint. With 3D wave motion and a speed range of 1–80 rpm, it keeps samples in smooth, constant movement. The shaker can be run in continuous mode or via a timer (1 min to 999 h 59 min). The integrated RS232 interface together with Hei-PROCESS software allows semi-automated processes, data logging and automatic restart after power failures. Two tilt angles are available: 10° to help prevent foaming and 5° to minimise risks such as glass breakage and spill-over.

Hei-SHAKE Wave Core 2000

Hei-SHAKE Wave Core 2000 provides the same gentle 3D wave motion as Wave Core – but on a significantly larger platform. The included platform with 2000 rubber mat increases the usable area by approximately 71.5%, making it ideal when you want to rinse more bags, flasks or trays in parallel. You get the same 1–80 rpm speed range, continuous operation or timer (1 min to 999 h 59 min), RS232 for remote control/logging and the option for automatic restart. As with the smaller model, two tilt angles are available: 10° (for anti-foaming) and 5° (for extra safety and stability).

Polymax 1040

Polymax 1040 is the wave shaker that can also be used under temperature-controlled conditions. It can be integrated into Heidolph’s modular incubation system, giving you controlled temperature and gentle 3D motion in the same setup. With a loading capacity up to 5 kg and a speed range of 2–50 rpm, it can move many samples at once, either in continuous mode or with a timer up to 120 minutes – a practical solution for gentle mixing and rinsing steps where the incubator environment is key.
