Heidolph Rocking Platform Shakers
Heidolph Rocking Platform Shakers
Gentle 2D motion for blood samples and cell culture
Heidolph rocking Platform shakers for gentle, efficient mixing
Heidolph rocking platform shakers provide a smooth 2D motion that is particularly well suited for blood samples, cell culture and other sensitive biological applications. The controlled, gentle rocking creates a balance between efficient mixing and careful handling – ideal when you want to avoid coagulation, foaming or unnecessary mechanical stress.
Key features
- 2D rocking motion for gentle yet effective mixing
- Low speed ranges for sensitive samples, up to 80 rpm
- Choice of tilt angle (5° or 10°) depending on application
- Non-slip rubber mat for secure vessel positioning
- Models with timer, RS232 and options for remote control
Hei-SHAKE Rock Core
Hei-SHAKE Rock Core is the bio specialist for gentle yet efficient mixing on a compact footprint. With 2D rocking and a speed range of 1–80 rpm, it keeps samples in continuous, smooth motion while vessels remain securely positioned on the non-slip rubber mat, even at higher speeds. The shaker can run in continuous mode or via a timer (1 min to 999 h 59 min), and the integrated RS232 interface together with Hei-PROCESS software enables semi-automated processes, including automatic restart after a power failure. Two versions are available: with a 10° tilt angle to help prevent foaming, or 5° to minimise risks such as glass breakage and liquid spill-over.
Hei-SHAKE Rock Core 2000
Hei-SHAKE Rock Core 2000 delivers the same gentle, controlled 2D rocking motion as Rock Core – but on a significantly larger platform. The included platform with 2000 rubber mat increases the usable surface area by approximately 71.5%, making it ideal when you want to run more blood bags, flasks or trays in parallel. You get the same 1–80 rpm speed range, continuous operation or timer (1 min to 999 h 59 min), RS232 for remote control/logging and the option for automatic restart after power failures. This model is also available with two tilt angles: 10° for applications where foaming is a concern, and 5° when you prioritise extra safety and stability.
Duomax 1030

Duomax 1030 is a flexible rocking shaker that combines a compact footprint with reliable, reproducible motion. Samples are held securely on a non-slip rubber mat, and the speed is continuously adjustable between 2–50 rpm, making it well suited for gentle mixing steps. It can be operated in continuous mode or with a timer up to 120 minutes, and can be integrated into Heidolph’s modular incubator system for temperature-controlled applications. Depending on your process, you can choose a 5° tilt angle for extra soft movement, or 10° when a slightly larger amplitude is desired without becoming too vigorous.
