PHCbi Cryogenic ULT Freezers
PHCbi Cryogenic ULT Freezers
Uniform cryostorage around –150 °C with microprocessor control
PHCbi cryogenic freezer – stable cryostorage at –150 °C
PHCbi cryogenic chest freezer is designed for long-term cryopreservation at extremely low temperatures, providing stable and uniform storage well below –135 °C – nominally around –150 °C. This creates a highly secure environment for cell banks, tissues, stem cells and other samples where biological activity should effectively cease.
The freezer is specifically engineered for cryogenic applications, with application-specific design, microprocessor control and high storage capacity. The integrated controller continuously monitors and regulates temperature, and includes a comprehensive alarm system with diagnostic functions so you can quickly detect deviations and respond in time.
A key feature of the design is a high-efficiency oil separator. Because compressors in ultra-low temperature freezers run for extended periods, lubricant oil is essential to reduce wear and maintain performance. However, when oil circulates with the refrigerant, it can clog piping and damage the compressor. By effectively separating lubricant oil from the refrigerant, the MDF-C2156VAN increases compressor durability and provides a more reliable, stable cryogenic environment over the long term.
The spacious chest design offers high storage capacity while maintaining very uniform temperatures throughout the chamber volume – a critical factor when you need reproducible, secure freezing conditions for large sample collections.
