Berner Lab offers sound isolation boxes from Sonation, designed for acoustic isolation of pumps, ultrasonic baths and water coolers commonly used in laboratory environments. With a noise reduction of up to 16 dB(A) – equivalent to approximately 80% reduction in perceived noise – they make a noticeable difference in your daily working environment.

Flexible And Customisable

Sonation offers models to suit almost all pump types. Each box comes with pump-specific lids that can easily be swapped if you want to isolate a different pump type – without investing in an entirely new box.

Sonation Sound Isolation Boxes – Model Overview

Sonation offers sound isolation boxes in several models, designed for different pump types and applications. Here is an overview to help you choose the right model for your laboratory.

SSH07 – For Smaller Pumps
Ideal for smaller pumps such as Edwards E2M1.5, Varian DS102 and Pfeiffer DUO2.5. Available with IEC 10A or IEC 16A power outlets – most compatible pumps use IEC 10A.
SSH11 – For Small To Medium Pumps
Suitable for small to medium-sized pumps. Pump connections can be extended with flange fittings, making it possible to attach accessories such as oil mist filters outside the box.
SSH22 – For Two Pumps In One Box
Designed to house and acoustically isolate two pumps in a single box – a practical solution when space is limited.
SSH35 – For Larger Pumps
Suitable for larger vacuum pumps such as the Edwards XDS series, Leybold Sogevac series and Varian MS40+/MS30+. Available with 2 or 4 fans and IEC 10A or IEC 16A power outlets to match different requirements.
SSH56 – For Water Coolers
Specially developed for the ThermoFlex 900 in the ThermoFlex series, and also suitable for similar water cooler models.
SSH70 – For Two Large Roughing Pumps
Offers space for two large pumps such as Edwards XDS35 and Leybold SV40BI – particularly useful for mass spectrometry applications. Available with 2 or 4 fans per pump and IEC 10A or IEC 16A connections. With the optional oil tray on castors, the entire system becomes mobile, which is convenient for servicing.
