UNIVERSAL TRAYS WITH SCREW HOLES

Universal trays provide a robust solution for mounting the widest range of holders. They are made of corrosion-resistant, anodized aluminum and feature screw holes for mounting any desired holder. The tray can be configured freely and adjusted at any time. It can also be sterilized in an autoclave.

UNIVERSAL TRAYS WITH ADHESIVE MATS

INFORS’ green adhesive mat, “Sticky Stuff”, offers unmatched flexibility. The mat can hold all types of vessels with a smooth, flat base and allows shaking up to 300 rpm. Even vessels like microtiter plates can be shaken on the mat up to 220 rpm.

Unlike standard universal trays, there is no need to change holders when incubating vessels of different sizes.

The adhesive mat is delivered pre-mounted on a tray or in 200 x 200 mm pieces and offers the following advantages:

• Consistent adhesion between 16–60°C
• Easy vessel removal at all temperatures
• Higher shaking speeds; up to 300 rpm (depending on shaking amplitude)
• Long service life
• Easy to clean; just use water or mild soapy solution
• Adjustable: the plates can be removed and repositioned
• Can also be used on universal trays with screw holes
• Can be disinfected with 70% ethanol

DEDICATED TRAYS

Dedicated trays are equipped with holders for only one flask size. They are used in cases where only a single flask size is required.

The holders are riveted in place and cannot be replaced. Because the holders do not need to be arranged symmetrically (as on a universal tray), they can be positioned optimally, providing 10–20% higher capacity compared to universal trays with screw holes.

TRAYS FOR MICROPLATES

The trays can be fitted with holders for microplates and/or deepwell plates. There are holders for mounting plates either horizontally or at an angle. The two types can be combined.

To achieve high speeds, between 250 and 400 rpm, balancing weights can be added for optimal performance.

For applications requiring incubation of a large number of culture plates, a shaking tray with pins is available. These allow flexible loading configurations. An M-tray (Multitron) can incubate up to 72 deepwell plates or up to 144 microtiter plates simultaneously.

Mixing different types of plates and removing individual plates is possible. For optimal aeration, plastic rings can be used as spacers between the plates.

TRAYS WITH ROLLER HOLDERS

Trays with roller holders allow incubation of vessels in various shapes. The holders can be fixed at any position along the support rods, and adding or removing holders is quick and easy.
