Oxygen sensors

Optical oxygen sensors for liquid and gas phase.

We sell PreSens optical oxygen sensors. PreSens optical oxygen sensors can be used in both liquid and gas phases, simplifying the analysis of a sample, which can then be done within a measurement setup.

Unfortunately, we are unable to display all PreSens sensors available for purchase, so if you’re looking for a specific product, please feel free to contact one of our sales representatives who can assist you further.

OXYPro® SERIES

The probes in the OXYPro® series can be directly connected to a control unit and are available for various oxygen ranges—from broad-range monitoring to the detection of ultra-trace O₂ levels. These probes are ideal for applications in the biotechnology sector, the beverage industry, or for oxygen monitoring in industrial settings where they must withstand harsh measurement conditions.

OXYPro® probes are available in various lengths and feature a removable sensor cap that can be easily replaced. These caps come in different versions to meet various requirements—from versions certified for food applications to caps that reduce air bubble formation during dissolved O₂ monitoring. Whatever your application, our OXYPro® oxygen probes offer the perfect tool for high-precision measurement and control in your processes.

OXYGEN SENSOR SPOT SP-PSt3-NAU

The sensor spot is the most versatile version of non-invasive optical oxygen sensors. The red side of the spot can be attached to the inside of any transparent glass or plastic container, such as shake and spinner flasks, tubes, Petri dishes, or cultivation bags. Oxygen is measured non-invasively and non-destructively through the transparent container wall. The SP-PSt3-NAU has a measurement range of 0–100% oxygen in dissolved or gaseous form. The oxygen-sensitive coating is immobilized on a 125 µm flexible transparent polyester foil, which is not autoclavable.

EDDY COVARIANCE OXYGEN MICROSENSOR ECO-PSt7

The optical oxygen microsensors for eddy covariance allow measurements at a 10 Hz sampling rate. The ECO-PSt7 has a tip size of 30 µm, causing only minimal flow disturbance. They provide precise in situ measurements. The sensor fiber is integrated into a robust steel needle, exposing only 3 mm of the sensitive sensor tip. This ensures safe handling and minimizes the risk of accidental damage—ensuring reliable data collection. The ECO-PSt7, together with the OXY Flux oxygen meter, is a cost-effective solution for expanding your eddy covariance measurement setup.

DO NICE PORT

This port with an integrated oxygen sensor is designed for use in flexible bag bioreactors, such as storage and mixing bags. It is primarily intended for cell culture applications but can also be used for monitoring microbial fermentation. The port is made of polyethylene, allowing easy welding to the bags. An optical polymer fiber is connected to the port from the outside to read the sensor. The Nice Port DO enables contactless measurements in culture bags, eliminating the risk of contamination.
