Hei-PLATE Mix ‘n’ Heat Core

Hei-PLATE Mix ‘n’ Heat Core is the entry-level model for labs that want to simply stir and heat without unnecessary complexity. Two rotary knobs give direct access to speed and temperature, up to 1,400 rpm and 300 °C, using a clear scale. A large safety gap between the hotplate and controls, together with an optical residual heat indicator above 50 °C, helps protect users from burns, and the heating function can be activated separately via an illuminated button. The patented Kera-Disk® plate (145 mm) in anodized aluminium is chemical-resistant, scratch-proof and enables fast heat-up, while staying compact and compatible with a wide range of accessories.

Hei-PLATE Mix ‘n’ Heat Core+ adds digital temperature control and higher precision while retaining the familiar ease of use. You can stir gently up to 1,400 rpm and heat to 300 °C, with illuminated keys and knobs that clearly show which functions are active. Dynamic rotary knobs allow both fine and fast adjustments, and a locking function prevents accidental changes to your settings. Safety is supported by the optimized design and visual residual heat indication above 50 °C, while the patented Kera-Disk® plate (135 mm) provides rapid, even heating in a compact format. A digital display and selectable FAST/PRECISE heating modes, together with an optional Pt1000 temperature sensor, give accurate temperature control without overshoot.

Hei-PLATE Mix ‘n’ Heat Expert

Hei-PLATE Mix ‘n’ Heat Expert is designed for more demanding applications where you want extra control while keeping operation intuitive. Separate displays for stirring and heating let you monitor all values at a glance, and two push-and-rotate controls with LED rings make active functions immediately visible. Individual timers for stirring and heating add flexibility, and simple menu navigation streamlines daily use. For temperature control you can choose between FAST, PRECISE and PRECISE+ modes to protect sensitive samples, and the unit supports both single and dual Pt1000 sensors for measurement in sample and bath. Adjustable start-up behaviour, changeable stir bar direction and an automatic stir bar detector ensure optimal mixing, while the chemical-resistant, scratch-proof 135 mm Kera-Disk® plate delivers very fast heating in a small footprint, with the same proven safety distance and residual heat indication above 50 °C.

Hei-PLATE Mix ‘n’ Heat Ultimate

Hei-PLATE Mix ‘n’ Heat Ultimate is the fully connected model for automated processes and data-driven labs. Multiple interfaces (RS232 and USB-B for integration with Hei-PROCESS, front USB-A for direct data logging and USB-C for connection to the electric Heidolph lab jack) enable smooth integration into your digital workflow and add safety and convenience. Three heating modes (FAST, PRECISE, PRECISE+) provide tight temperature control without overshoot, especially in combination with Pt1000 or dual Pt1000 sensors, supporting reproducible profiles and method development. For stirring, you can configure three start-up behaviours, set the stir bar direction and rely on the automatic stir bar detector for consistent mixing quality. As with all models, a generous safety distance between plate and controls, plus residual heat indication above 50 °C, protects users, while the 145 mm anodized aluminium Kera-Disk® plate offers chemical resistance, scratch protection and extremely fast heating, compatible with a wide range of vessel sizes and accessories.
