Product Information

Tankblot Eco-Mini and Tankblot Eco-Maxi are part of the modular Eco-Line product series, allowing for the simultaneous blotting of two or four gels. The ultra-pure platinum electrodes are specially positioned on the sidewalls of the buffer tank to ensure uniform and reproducible transfer across a wide range of molecular weights. Benefit from the unique design of the EBC buffer tank. Through the connections for an external cooling unit, gels can be continuously cooled during the blotting process, creating the ideal conditions for the gentle transfer of temperature-sensitive, native, or very large proteins (> 100 kDa), even with long transfer times (> 24 hours).

Tankblot Eco-Mini

Tankblot Eco-Mini is designed to transfer up to four PAGE mini gels (up to 9.5 cm x 8.5 cm) in separate blot cassettes simultaneously. The special design of the blot cassettes allows for easy assembly and loading into the blot module. Additional assembly prevents the blotting sandwiches from being compressed.

Tankblot Eco-Maxi

Tankblot Eco-Maxi is the larger version, accommodating gel sizes up to 22 cm x 19 cm. The system offers capacity for multiple transfers: several small gels or one large gel per cassette. Up to two large gels can be transferred simultaneously in separate blot cassettes. The special design for securing the blotting sandwich within the blot cassette prevents compression and allows for easy handling.
